You can still use one instance of a vi that has say 8 parts with the one instrument track and 7 MIDI tracks to feed the other 7 parts along with the concomitant aux/audio tracks to receive the other 7 audio streams. A lot of people don't realize that with a multi-timbral vi.

Yes, I know. But it helps me keep track of things better to use the instrument track to host the VI. Just my preference.
