Default Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2?

Thinking of purchasing Omnisphere 2. I know it sounds awesome. My question is does it play well with Pro Tools? Does anyone have any crashes or any other issues using it in Pro Tools? Thanks.

Haven’t upgraded to V2 yet – but I read:

“There is an authorization issue that affects some systems which have been upgraded to Windows 10 from a previous version of Windows.”

Easy-fix here:

Omnisphere 2 PT 12.5 issue:

"Anyone notice and issue with Omnisphere 2 giving the pinwheel of death til you force close PT? Only happens in 12.5. I tried using it in 12.4 and Studio One, and both work perfectly. Not sure what happened there."

and V2 gets the "thumbs-up" here:

Thanks that's a good thing to know. Luckily I have a fresh install of Windows 10.

I use it a lot, it's probably my go-to VI. Never had a problem with it, either in PT or Ableton Live, both MacOS.
