Default Problems with PT 7.1.1 and Final Cut Express HD

After installing and running Final Cut, I Installed PT 7.1.1. PT seems to have changed the audio filters so Final Cut won't open. It will initialize, but not open. Un Installing PT doesn't help either. Any thoughts about how to fix this so they can both exist would be much appreciated.....
