help-sound output
Is there a way to get my CDROM reader to play back CD's through the 882/20 hardware? 9600/350, 8.1, PT 4.3.1

There is a way in PT 5.0.1. Its called DirectConnect I think. I have this version but I cannot get it (DirectConnect) installed right. Danny. ------------------ Sound with Vision. www.metasound.nl

It's not directconnect there is an extension called output driver that interferes with the MACs normal sound output. Open Sound under 'Control panels' you should be able to select Digidesign for output. http://www.digidesign.com/download/sndrvr.html
