transport prob

I opened up pro tools and can't play ...if i push the space bar or play button on the transport it doesn't play...I can ff...reverse...go to beg or end...just can't play....

Could you give less info Look near the top of this(and every) DUC page for this link, have a good read. Then come back with some info

it sounds like playback pre-roll is switched on.

if you hit play and wait - really wait like up to a minute, does it start playing?

I'm using pro tools 12 on win 10 64.....nvidia 750ti ...nvidia..hd and realtek hd audio....amd phenom ii x4 965 processor..3400mhz....quad core....using a scarlett 6i6 interface...I opened up pro tools and can't play ...if i push the space bar or play button on the transport it doesn't play...I can ff...reverse...go to beg or end...just can't play....

alright guys I appreciate all your help...but I restarted my comp (again)..fired up pt and now it's working fine...what a life...lol...Doc
