Is it just me or does having all of those expensive electronics and guitars installed right on the water sound like a bad idea? I run a portable air conditioner/dehumidifier in my control room just to cope with the high humidity here on the Texas Gulf Coast. In fact, I have the portable AC on right now even though my outside temp is 80F.

The thing with guitars and electronics is once they get used to a certain environment they're okay. Really - most electronics unless they're immersed in water or have water actually dripping on them are okay. With a guitar as long as the humidity is constant there's no issue. It's when you get changes in humidity that a guitar goes nuts as does any acoustic instrument.

Trick is to keep the environment constant.

Neve 88R, nice desk, I have the pleasure of using one regularly.
Saw that interview before and thought it was really cool!
