If the GUI Resolution is the only thing left to argue about, then I gonna be the happiest S3L-X owner on the planet I guess

Are we discussing whether or not we accept an update for our S3L AFTER YEARS now depending on the screen resolution? Oh wait ... we're video technicians now!

Re: S3L - The early death of a sweet console and what could follow?
Hello Ryan, I have been using S3L-x for a year now with a desperate need to connect non Avid AVB audio sources the whole time. The artist I work with invested tens of thousands of dollars into AVB audio, and we all believe it to be an amazing way forward, but we are clearly 18-24 months (or more?) ahead of companies like Avid developing this technology so it is inter-operable.
I was given a glimpse of the most recent 5.x version of S6L software (it was in Beta when I saw it, not sure if released) and I was VERY happy to see that it includes Generic AVB connection in the patch bay, so you are clearly closer than ever to making this a reality with S6L. Lots of people are listing many of the same things I think need to be implemented as an upgrade for S3L-x, but really, most of that would ALREADY happen if you can simply get to V5 in some form, no? Speaking personally, making sure any upgrade to v5 software comes with with the Generic AVB connectivity is the ONLY thing that I think could be knocked off the wishlist, but shouldn't be. I am excited to hear you hinting that you are still looking at an upgrade seriously. I beg you to do this soon, and to make sure that Generic AVB compatibility is at the TOP of the list, it will make for years more life in this product as more AVB products come online. thanks |

I got another option request:
The possibility to disable the bottom row option switches ( fine, multi select e.g. ) I got some guest engineers asking for that.... Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk |
