Latency question PT 11HD vs regular with same hardware
Is it true that Pro Tools 11HD software, when used with non-Avid interfaces such as an Apogee Duet II or RME, offers slightly lower latency that regular Pro Tools 11 non-HD software through the same hardware? This is with Pro Tools 11 HD without the Thunderbolt box and/or PCIe card, etc. It doesn't make sense that it would, but I thought I may have read it somewhere. Thx.
