No wavelengths in Pro Tools SE/C400
Hi, I recently bought a M audio fast track c400, and yes I've watched the tutorial videos, have reinstalled the software correctly and the patch which is detailed within the sticky, yet I am still having problems trying to record vocals with my setup and Pro Tools SE. My microphone is the C01 Studio Condenser and I have the appropriate xlr cables, the phantom power is powering the mic on and I have tested the mic on another m audio interface so I know it works.
Whenever I try to record on Pro Tools SE i receive no wavelengths or any indication that I am even speaking into the mic, it is as if the mic isn't on. I have checked the preferences to see whether the fast track is being recognized and it is. I have also tried Garage Band but to no avail, as it too recognizes the fast track c400 but will not pick up any vocals whenever I try and record. Please write back as soon as possible as I am stressing over this new equipment, thank you. |
