Slowing down grid at the end of a song

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to help me on this one
I've been trying to slow down the grid for the last two bars of a song so that I can edit the acoustic guitar to the grid. I've highlighted the two bars on the timeline in the edit window and have gone to - Track - tempo operations. From there I click on linear and choose what I would like the end bpm tempo to be. Once completed, the tempo including click track slow down at the right speed, but the grid doesn't change to match this. I was wondering if there is a way to make the grid slow down also so that it is in sync with the bpm? Am I forgetting something?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated

Sorry, all good, just figured out that the grid was slowing down also. The green triangle bpm markers were just throwing me as they aren't on the grid, Cheers
