I've made an update to Tiger and need help

I bought Tiger with the intensions of getting 10.4 and ended up getting 10.4.6. Then I updated my tdm to 6.9.2. Is 6.9.2 compatible and approved for osx 10.4.6? I see that it's been approved OFFICIALLY up to 10.4.2, so do I have to downgrade to 10.4.2.

Once I upgraded my osx, I did a repair permissions like I was told. Now that I've lauched PT....the only thing that seems to not be working is my control 24. It gets an error that says, "there was an error encountered while loading the personality of the control 24." It says that when I go into periphials and try to load it in the ethernet controller window. And I only did that because it wasn't loaded with the initial launch of the session.

That isn't the words exactly but that is pretty much what it said in a nutshell.

So will this go away if I downgrade to 10.4.2?
What should be my next steps, now that I've got tiger, considering my situation?

Hi,

Your best option is a fresh install of tiger and don't update beyond 10.4.2 then install everything again.

there may be a case for unistalling Pro Tools and doing a fresh install of 6.9.2!!(download the installer again) but this could be risky and as 10.4.6 in not supported it might be totally fruitless.
