Default Newbie: Can\'t find patch name file for drum mach.

Hey... I can't find the patch name file for my old roland r70... I'm using a digi 002 in PT 6.9 and it isn't on the list...
Will I still be able to control it? Do I have to download an old template or is there a generic drum machine patch
name I can use? Thanks....

Yes.

Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck finding a ready made .midnam file for it. That unit is quite old, no? And I'm not familiar with it and can't find much information about it, so I don't know what the patch names in it are.
But you don't really need it. The patch names are just handy, but they aren't required to control the unit. You will just have to select the patches by patch number.

You could always make your own midname file following the Digidesign Tech-tips on how to do so.
