Default can\'t open protools le 5.3.3 ..

hi:
i just had a problem when opening up my protools application. I use pt le 5.3 version and run it under xp, i pretty follow all the instructions in the pdf "getting started with MBOX in XP",i updated the firmware and changed the DMA thing, but i still can't open it up, it says it has a problem error:

a fatal exception has occur
protools must exit
a log file has been writeen to :
c:\program files\digidesign\pro tools\pro tools utilities\exceptionlogfiles\Log-126972083108430000.ptx

anyone knows how to fixt the problem?
