The Quartz DeBug-solution takes care of this for me as well, when disabling BeamSync!

Thank you!

I'm not sure if this totally relates to this thread but I just did a fresh install of PT 11.3.1 on 10.10.2 and over all it's really sluggish. Computer is a 5.1 MacPro 2.4 8 core. I just picked this one up to upgrade so at the moment it only has 8gigs of ram. The biggest thing is that zooming in and out is really slow compared to 11.2 on 10.8.5. Also the faders are sluggish if I'm writing automation with a mouse. I've tried quartz debug but that didn't help anything. Also tried removing native instruments plugins and spectrasonics plugins out of the folder. That didn't change any thing either. 11.3.1 was laggy on my other Mac Pro running 10.8.5 as well so I'm thinking it's 11.3.1 more than it is Yosemite.

Did you also try to disable beam sync?

Just running quartz debug didn't do it for me, but disabling beam sync did.

Disabling beam sync doesn't help here. I'm about to head out of town for 2 weeks for some live tracking so I'll have to keep trouble shooting it when I get back. Whats interesting is that I'm seeing less crash's on this install than I was having on 10.8.5 but it's so laggy that it's actually affecting my work. I've only had one crash which happened when I split a region, after I had been working in the session for an hour or so. I'm really close to going back to 10 but 11 has been saving me a lot of time being able to offline bounce stems.

I'm another one on yosemite 10.3.3. With PT 12. Lagging faders unless beam sync is disabled in quartz debug. Then it works ok. (2009 Mac Pro 8 core).

This occurs whether I use the nvidia 8800 or the gtx 760 card (I have both)
