To make the iPad a master you need to first remove the S1 its already connected to. If it refused to connect restart the iPad.

I went back to the studio after the weekend. I removed all connected devices and restarted the iPad but no way.
Removed Eucontrol.plist "and other eucon .plists" restarted the mac didn't fix the problem.

Just reinstall the Eucontrol app on the iPad.
