Agreed. It's why I tend to go nuts with level metering plugins and/or spectrogram plugs.

Come back with fresh ears periodically. This is especially important before finally committing. Never commit after a long stint of working on audio or anything creative really. After around 3 hours we start losing our objectivity. |
