? MIDI - copy a block/edit the copy changes the original too

Hello MIDI question. PTLE 7.0 and Addictive Drums 1.0

I normally start a verse pattern, Ctrl D and paste for bridges and choruses, then modify the pattern for each section, renaming them copying and programming different variations eg fills

However any changes I make to the copy changes the pattern I originally copied too! Is there any way to stop this happening?

Make sure Mirror MIDI Editing is not selected. (Options > Mirror MIDI Editing)
