Default Does Mac have a future?

Anyone hear the rumors of mac going under, again. I'm not sure on the whole story, but from what I have heard it doesn't look good. Anyone know anything about this? It sure would be a shame. . . .

You can read those things every day, don't worry.
There is even a site that keeps count, in a sarcastic way, of all the articles that talk about Apple going out of business.
They also seem to come up with these "doomsday" predictions everytime Apple is going to announce something big. Next week Apple is supossed to talk about the new MacOS X version (and hopefully the new processors) that they will use in the near future.

Well I am glad know they are going under (sarcasism) now I don't feel as bad looking at my broshure for the Macworld Expo knowing I can't make it.
My G3 has recently put in a request for retirement so I look forward to what Apple is about to offer since it should show a forthcoming more powerful machine which will either allow me to go for power or get a better price on the current G4's.

Where would all of the computer industry innovation come from if Apple were to die? If it weren't for Apple, we'd still be staring at at big, clunky beige boxes on our desktops.

I'm thinking that if they were in trouble they wouldn't have put a bid in on Universal Music.
