Lol. The only think that was really great is track freez and commit. Otherwise I would of stayed in pt10hd

Transparency also. All the DAW have that, but it was missing from PT. Difficult to properly adjust clips without transparency.

+1 to transparency, track freeze, and commit was worth the cash...moving multiple markers would be worth the cash! Loop library?

Yeah I haven't even looked at that library.

It's really lame and they know it, i got $20 that says they overpaid for it too.

I feel like it was a carrot for PT|first users to jump over. Just like the new 'Pro plugin' bundle that's being offered now. What about loyal users? What do we get?

I agree, they for sure overpaid for it...seeing what Avid is doing is like looking in the mirror of the major Telco I work for. Smoke and mirrors for quarterly earnings.

Does anyone know people who use loops? I know tons of producers and musicians. No one uses loops.

I don't see any reason to use them when I have plenty of very talented musicians who gladly will take the work even when budgets are on the lower side.

IMO my projects come out significantly better with real people playing the instruments.
