9128 error with tiny session...HELP! :)
Ok, just a couple weeks ago, I finished a session that had about 45 tracks and no problemos. I am now working on another tune another 24/48 session like the last one and I'm getting 9128 errors regularly when I'm trying to rehearse with the playback engine set at 64 samples. It goes away when I set the engine with a higher setting.
What in the name of Van Halen is going on all of a sudden? I've done no updates etc that could have caused it so I'm a bit baffled. The session having trouble only has about 6 tracks including one instrument track with ez drummer, but ez drummer usually doesn't give me trouble. Any ideas? thanks, Steve |

Re: 9128 error with tiny session...HELP! :)
Everyone is rubbernecking, but no one is stopping by to offer a suggestion.
Hello Avid tech? Are you out there or do I have to get out my credit card? |

Re: 9128 error with tiny session...HELP! :)
Its always tough to diagnose via long distance. Have you done all the system tweaks? Have you tried running the session from a different hard drive? Try disabling networking to see if that helps. Try opening the session while holding the SHIFT key. That will make all the plugins inactive. If the session will run like that, with no errors, make 1 row of plugins active(hold the Alt key, right-click on any plugin in the top row and Make Active). If it still runs okay, move to the next row of plugins. If it throws the error, start making plugins inactive, one by one to see if you can pin the error to a certain plugin(especially TL Space if you have that).
What interface are you using?
