Just to clear some things up. Avid retained the Fast Track devices when they sold M-Audio to InMusic. Also, this is a user-to-user forum, not official support for Avid.

I doubt there will be updated drivers for the older Fast Track devices (pre Solo/Duo), but that is a guess. We mods don't work for Avid, we're just customers same as you.

All that aside, have you gone through the Optimization Guide (use the Win8 one): http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...oting/en367983 specifically any parts about disabling Power Save? Also, you're best to check compatibility for all your software and hardware BEFORE doing an OS upgrade. Best practice is to do a backup of your working setup, so you have something to go back to if it doesn't work out.

Joel

Just install the older driver version before win 8.
that worked for me. If it dosnt for u, maybe u need to get a power adapter for your fast track.

Win 7 : version 6.1.10

I installed a clean Windows10 and I connected the Fast Track Pro, windows installs their own drivers Windows 10 (2015 drivers) ... I tested my FTP with my DAW program (Pro Tools and Sonar) and did not appear as a device compatible with ASIO, in fact, I tried selected as a playback device in the speaker icon lower bar in windows, but did not appear as a selectable option. So I can't used as a simple audio device too.

I downloaded and installed the last available drivers from AVID 6.1.10 (2013 drivers):
http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...ck-Pro-Drivers

And finally appeared as ASIO device in my DAW software, now the problem is that the sound is not crystal clear, is grainy, regardless of the size of the buffer (I put the maximum in ASIO Panel) with a latency of more than 4 seconds, did not sound clean, it seems like the buffer is not enough. I put it to a minimum and was worse, It was improved at 8 milliseconds but not clean, from there does not matter if I selected 8ms or 4 seconds of latency, it listens same as bad. I tested in the same PC with Windows 7 64 and everything works great, so the unit is not the problem, the issue is on the drivers. If someone has the same problem and has found a workaround in Windows 10, could you share us as it has achieved?

Any news with new drivers for Fast Track and Fast Track Pro on Windows 10?

There are list of my issues with Fast Track USB:

1) Control panel no more displaying in tray
2) After changing sample rate in control panel to 48000 system sound stop working. Same problem with DAW.
3) Two or more application that using sound, make sound break and distorted
4) Record devices (like OBS, Skype) doesn't read microphone

Fast track USB (not pro) driver 6.1.12
