I/O Labelling...
In an attempt to better organize, I want to label my inputs. For example, 5/6 are used for my mic inputs, 7/8 are from an outboard FX unit.
I've gone into Setup->IO Settings, and changed the names, but when I try to export or close, it tells me that I haven't assign path formats...yet the inputs do show 'stereo' or 'mono'. Can someone explain this to me? I'm using the 003 Rack and PTLE 7.4 on OSX 10.5. |

Re: I/O Labelling...
I'm not at a Pro Tools system right now so I can't check anything. One thing you might try in the meantime is to rename them in the mixer instead. Just right-click and choose rename.

Re: I/O Labelling...
You need to make sure that you actually have checked off the inputs in the grid(bveside the path/names column).
