Default I don\'t have protools, need a little bit of heelp

hello everyone

I have an audio file that I wan't to do a cross fade on. (by crossfade I mean something like measure 5 needs to go between measeure 2 and 3 and be seamless. I think thats what you xperts call a crossfade?)

Is there another (preferably free) program that I can do that on? For Win XP with no hardware other than pc stuff (e.g. no special audio equipment).

Thanky!
Hepcat

I'd say download a demo version of Adobe Audition (formerly Cool Edit).

I think that would fit your needs.

You can check this out to see if it will do what you want. http://www.goldwave.com/ I've not used it, but other people recommend it. I think it's free.

I don't think PT free runs on XP, does it?
