2018.1 Runs perfectly

Hi

I am on High Sierra
Pro tools 2018.1 menu do not take my system language - it appears only in English
Is it a known issue or is there something to do to set the language menu ?

There is a preference to ”auto switch input language” to English. That is a good thing normally, since a few key commands don’t work when the keyboard is set to Swedish in my case.

Just two month on PT12 and i am happy for 2018 version. Long time used 10 and 11. Now jump on new version because avid add more MIDI feature that i always much in works for movie scoring. Thank you AVID, always the best.

well in your profile thankfully you have your machine, which shows you are using an unsupported OS with windows 7.. Also, your cpu makes mine look like a ferrari, and mine are old too.
6gb ram and you wonder why a program that REQUIRES 16gb minimum, is crashing?

And no details exactly what you do to make it happen.. no ask for help, just slam slam slam? How can we take this seriously?

if you are being serious, calm down and give us more info, and people here WILL try to help you get running, even with your unsupported OS and ram.

Considering many of us have been running it every single day since release and it's been solid, it DOES point to YOUR machine being the problem, NOT pro tools 2018.1

I just installed 2018.1 on my 2013 MacPro with OS X 10.12 - and I'm getting extremely sluggish editing behavior. Like with Pro Tools 12.8.1 and .2.

Anybody else seeing this? I guess I'll be going back to 12.8.3 which was running smoothly.

Try going into Activity Monitor and see if Pro Tools Quicktime Server is hanging.

I found force quitting it helped greatly.
12.8.3 was fine.

Force quitting the Pro Tools Quicktime Server makes no difference at all. (This also did not help with Pro Tools 12.8.1/.2)
