Default Avids new Pro Audio Community ..

Oh, this is a great initiative! I'm really looking forward to this.
It'll be great to have more Avid employees on this great forum.
Can't wait!

Yeh, There will be Avid employees assisted by about 20 user moderators! Each user moderator will be assigned to specific forums to help identify any repeatable issues and possible bugs and report them up to the Avid team.

The forum structure is going to change as well! This will take a little getting used to at first as the forum was getting bloated with too many separate forums, so quite a few products that have a lot in common will be combined into one forum which will make it easier for users to know more about their products.

Plus new features: image hosting and Avatars
Avatars… (A small picture etc you can have in your signature)

Wednesday, March 20, 2013, Avid will be launching a new forum structure on the Pro Audio Community forums as well as a new customer moderator program.

The "Pro Audio Community"

Are they restructuring the entire DUC... er... AAF... or "PAC"

What's going to change? this whole forum? or a "Section of it" ?

I'm so out of the loop.

The whole structure of the forum will be changing, can't say for colors.

We will be streamlining the forums that will bring a new design which aligns with the Avid Pro Audio product line and provides a better opportunity for community members to collaborate and communicate. Approx. 20 customer moderators will be monitoring the new forums and assisting Avid with forum traffic and ensuring the customer issues get to our attention in a timely manner. There will also be many Avid internal Subject Matter Experts (SME) assisting along the way….

Looking forward to this. I think its needed a overhaul for awhile. Hopefully the few format fosters a increased sense of community.

Also it should be mentioned that the man who used to keep this forum running smoothly behind the scenes is back. Working on the new forum and cleaning up the Pro Tools portion of Avid Audio.

I won't out the guy in case he wants to stay anonomous or make his own introduction but I would like to say welcome back.

I dont think this as really secret info but he can delete this if he wants

Here's to a stronger Pro Tools community.
