Default Is PDC Close?

I've been looking at the Mellowmuse plugin which gets around the problem, but if plug-in delay compensation is the next fix away I'll wait.

If it's going to be next year then it's probably worth getting. What's the up to date position on this? Anyone know?

Nobody knows officially outside of the company, and anyone inside the company who would know would not be allowed to speak of it publicly.

My take on it, and I'm not an expert, is that you should not hold your breath for PDC/ADC in Pro Tools MPowered or LE products.

I gave up trying to get ATA to work in practice.

I think Digi will have a new product line next year and the issue will go away. No idea when next year.

I agree with Mr. Tree on this one, I think they have no choice but to bring this along in the next year if not sooner. But we have been wrong before. But being the only major native DAW without it....

I am about to finish my first album project in PT M-Powered, and I have to say that even with ATA, the hoops I need to jump through to get around the ADC/PDC limitation have been unbelievable. This project requires that I use PT, but if I get a project that doesn't, I'd be very quick to use Reaper instead for this reason alone.

What? No pitchforks? You can't have angry villagers without pitchforks. It is written.
