Default Weird PT 8 Session Loading Error

I get this error every now and then when trying to load a PT session.

It appears regardless of session and I have tried deleting the usual suspects. Only, this error is permanent and I have to force quit PT. After the force quit I try and relaunch PT but then the gray curtain appears telling me to reboot my mac. Thus, kernal panic

What happens is this:

When loading a session a window appears with a progress bar only it never finishes - the window name is :

BUILDING PANNER WINDOWS

Please see this ScreenShot

Any Ideas what that could be....

I have had the error 4 times this week

I assume "never" means never? What error do you get? Curious if these particular sessions were last-saved with some unique window config, or panner windows, etc. Any way to find out?

I'll do some sleuthing....

Hi Tim & thank you for chiming in.

Yup, nver means nver.

Aint getting no error dialog. That window with the progress bar simply sits there and does nothing, leaving PT non-responsive.

No special savings etc. Only, thing was that Altiverb was open at the point of saving.

I run the latest Altiverb version.
