Disabling MIDI patch changes, when recording MIDI through the Eleven Rack?
Hey guys.
First time posting on this forum! Hope you can help me out! So... I've bought a MIDI keyboard, to control some VST instruments inside Reaper, and record MIDI data, and so on. I have it hooked up to the "MIDI in" of the rack, and have selected "External", as the MIDI device inside my DAW. Everything works good, signal gets through, low latency etc. My only problem (though only small), is that when I change the settings on the keyboard itself, it also sends "patch change information" to the rack. For example, it will switch to a different guitar patch, when I want to transpose the keyboard. Is there anyway to disable this function? Best regards. |

The simplest solution would be to set the 11R to another MIDI channel. If the keyboard transmits its signals on ch 1 and you set the 11R to "listen" to signals on ch2, nothing should happen.
