Expect anything except roadmap. Make feature requests and post about essential things to your workflow. Avid however releases when they are ready to release.

Avid: No. But you can import SDII files to reference a mix from 20 years ago!

Literally nobody: Thanks Avid.

Not all of Avid is bad, in my opinion. Eddies Eucon department should be the rolemodel for PT department.

Amen. He does make everyone else look bad, frankly.

Remember a few years back when Avid published an extensive roadmap with dates of all the areas they were going to update? It wasn't feature-specific but it at least gave us a sense of their direction.

I'd say do that again Avid.

Hear hear!

And let’s not forget that Jeffro does a LOT for us members aswell. Jeffro and Eddie makes Avid look good and they should be running the joint! IMHO of course

This voice thing is everywhere: HDX fails to concur with HDN so far and with 2020.9 users of Pro Tools standard get half the voices they had before. Think about it, Avid!

It's all relative isn't it?
I couldn't care less about ARA implementation, or MIDI improvements.
I would like to see a comprehensive overhaul of the markers though (multiple marker lanes, color coding etc.).
I would also like to see more bug fixes, and improvements in stability, with the current feature set.
I'm happy about improvements to 'import session data', and atmos workflows, but I don't care about folder tracks (or folders in the clip list, since I've developed plenty of workarounds over the last 20 plus years).
Avid will never be able to keep all users happy.

You’re right. Everyone has different needs and wants and it’s hard for them to make all users happy.

But currently, one could argue that they’re keeping no one happy.
