Weird. I remember not upgrading g my TDM ssl bundle and needing to upgraded a few other things. I think my tdm was like V4 or 5. And everything else was V7 I believe. I upgraded everything to V9 and it came out to be like $310. But maybe cu I don't have the horizon or mercury bundle etc.

Did you check the box that says "I hereby confirm that I run all products on one machine at a time"?

With all of my single Waves plugs selected and the Platinum Bundle, it tops out at $300 for me.

If you didn't check that box then that's how they get you. If you check it your WUP taps out at 300 bucks. It's that simple.

BTW this is not the SSL collection, including SSL E brown and black knobs, SSL g bus compression, SSL g equalizer and the SSL g channel.

This is never one sale.

What they are selling is the independent piece SSL E Black knobs (you can't switch it to brown knobs) channel.

From time to time the SSL collection has gone on sale. Would have been nice if this was both the brown and black knob plugin.

The whole SSL 4000 collection was on sale a couple of months back for $199, just didn't have any extra cash at the time. Got this though, helps my game a bit.

Waves is doing quite well it seems. Still an international company releasing quite a few plugins each year.

I just think they're getting more aggressive with their marketing.

Of course. They have much more competition now than in their Q10-days.
