Default Fast Track Pro Drivers Windows 10

Hi, does anyone know if avid are going to ever release new drivers for the Fast Track Pro?

They bought it from M-Audio but haven't done anything to update it and their customer service is impossible to contact.

Thanks

Actually Avid sold M-Audio to InMusic in 2012, but Avid retained the Fast Track and Mobile Pre devices.

You can get the latest driver released in Dec 2014 for the FTP here:http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ck-Pro-Drivers

I'm not sure what plans are for updated drivers though.

Thank you, but this isn't the most recent one for Window's 10. My PC crashes every few hours because of the driver for this product.

I wish there was some way to contact Avid, they seem to really lack customer service.

That is the latest driver, there is no newer. I haven't heard if there will be any updated drivers for the FTP, but as of right now Windows 10 hasn't been qualified for use for Avid devices or Pro Tools.

That said, I'm running my devices and PT12 fine on Windows 10 using Windows 7 drivers.

I keep getting this.

Fast track driver-irql-not-less-or-equal

The support from this company is laughable, you need to pay to get support.

When I bought the product from Maudio I didn't think they'd sell it to a company that hates supporting customers.

The thing is, it crashes almost every hour, whenever I listen to music it crashes or do anything audio related.

Sad thing is I'm not the only one.

Then you know it is not an Avid Product since 2012 as it was sold to In Music

Whats your systm details as that is very important if you want help from the forum, this is users helping users so the better the info you provide, the better we can try to sort you out on this

Wow am I feeling out of date ! I am trying to find out if I can realistically expect to be able to run Fast Track Pro on a Windows 10 computer. And if there are recent updates as of 2020? Most references I've found here are from 4 or 5 years ago.

I've read the relevant posts, but am not sure what the verdict really is.

Pretty much all you need to know is here (the reality is unclear/varies.. you need to try it on your system if you want to take that risk) and on the driver page (not officially supported and won't be, and no updates anymore). https://avid.secure.force.com/pkb/ar...ck-Pro-Drivers

Unfortunately M-Audio lower-end stuff was such a failure Avid dumped the business. Avid just was not/is not set up to do that well. Maybe just time to buy a new interface. Lots of other companies to choose from, including Focusrite, Presonus, UAD, Motu, ... A Focusrite 2i2 for example is not expensive and solves any compatibility issue you might have.

Just install the older driver version before win 8.
that worked for me. If it dosnt for u, maybe u need to get a power adapter for your fast track.

Win 7 : version 6.1.10
