Default TL Space Question...

I just got the Complete Production Toolkit and it came with TL Space in my deal. Anyway, I am unable to load up the Library I downloaded from the Avid web site. As I try to load up an impulse, it tells me...

"1 or more files were not written. Please check log for errors"

I'm not really sure what this means. Anybody know what I should try? Thanks for all your help. This forum is AWESOME! ...PRO TOOLS is AWESOME!

The problem, which is compounded by being misrepresented in the video is that the library files downloaded from Avid have to be installed before you can load the impulses. Download the library zip files and unzip them. You will find .tls files inside. Start Pro Tools, open a session and bring up TL Space on a track. In the IR menu on the right side of the plugin, you'll find a command to install TL Space IR package. Select it and navigate to one of the .tls files. TL Space will unpack and install the IRs. You will have to do this for each .tls file (a pain in the ace).

If you are on Win7, TL Space wants to install the IRs to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Trillium Lane\TL Space\Impulse Responses. You may need to create this folder for TL Space to install the IRs. But the IRs really need to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Trillium Lane\TL Space\Impulse Responses on Win7. Installing the IRs and then moving them to the correct location works fine.
