Default Upgrading Processor in LE and Mix

I am currently running LE and about to do a MIx Plus Uggrade. I was considering upgrading the processor on a Quicksilver 933 with a Sonnet 1.4 upgrade. I understand that Digi does not support upgrading processors, but wanted to ask if anyone had had luck doing it. I am shying away from it unless there has been a few who have had no problems. I also was curious if I can use most of the 7200 RPM drives out there to upgrade my secondary internal drive. I appreciate your eexperience in any of this.

Thanks,

Jon Pousette-Dart
