Default Mountain Lion Drivers For MBOX 2

Hey guys, I recently updated to a new Macbook Pro which runs Mountain Lion (OSX 10.8.2). I am intending to crossgrade from ProTools LE to ProTools 10, however my MBox 2 interface isn't currently supported on Mountain Lion.

I need to use ProTools with interface in the near future for work but I don't want to go out and buy a new interface to then find out drivers to support MBox 2 have been released.

Has anyone got any idea of prospective release dates for such drivers? :)

the drivers are old but the mbox 2 is compatible with mountain lion. you just have to use a powered usb2 hub to get it to work with the usb3 ports of your mbp.

Really can you be more specific and link to the hub device you are referring to, sorry really new to these things?

I've read this multiple times in multiple forums but it didn't work for me. I got a Belkin 7-port powered USB extension. Is there something I'm missing? It still doesn't recognize the MBox 2 at all. Thanks for any advise you have!

This is a shot into dark but... I had serious problems with mBox 2 / iMac / Mountain Lion. They were solved when I removed Wave Rider midi driver from my Midi Drivers folder. So you may check that there is not any redundant midi drivers in your folder (Library -> Audio -> Midi Drivers). Good luck!
