Default Glyph Project X and PT 6

Anyone know why PT 6 doesn't recognize my glyph HD. When I go to save a project or open some of them, it says it isn't a suitable volume. Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks.

Not sure how the project X is pre-formatted but just double check that the HDD is formatted Mac Os Extended. If it is formatted differently that could be your problem.

Use Disk Utility to repair the volume plus permissions on your system disc.

also try trashing the volume.ddb file, trash DAE/Digisetup/PT prefs restart & zap the PRAM.

that combination usually works for me when a FW disc won't work. nnot sure which step is the critical one i jsut do them all caus ei know i can be up & running again in 5 minutes.

Hi Ben,

Restart the Mac & hold down the following key combination:-

Command + Option + P + R

until you hear 2 or 3 start up chimes. Good to do when troubleshooting.
