Default Heat hlep

Before i bought my PT9 i was really excited about the HEAT function. But i can seem to find the plug in. Some one help me, where is the the HEAT that should be in my mix window? (I love this site, yall are really helpful) thanks!

I'm assuming you're on Native? HEAT is Pro Tools|HD only.

Looking at some of your other posts, it looks like you have an Mbox interface. Therefore you probably have Protools 9 (not Protools 9HD) and therefore Heat will not work for you. Heat requires the TDM processor cards (mega $) and Protools 9HD (or Protools 10HD).

If you think you're really going to miss it, there's always console or tape simulation plugins that do a decent job.

vcc collection…..$125 on sale…..wait for them….they are nice and subtle…

no smoking gun that will make my mixes better just one of the many things that lead to a nice sounding song/mix….(Which is not the same thing)
