Alternative to the 002 console....

Hi, I've been using pro tools 7 LE 002 factory on my dell desktop. Now that i am at college in a small dorm i was wondering if there was a smaller, more space efficiant alternative, to the digi 002 board that i could still use with the copy of pro tools i have.

that actually looks pretty cool. i record everything bymyself and it would be alot easier to record drums without having to press record then run over to the drumset.

I must need some coffey because this makes no sense.

So he would still need a replacement DIGI interface since the interface he is currently using is the 002 Console.
Can't see how any of the Frontier produts would resolve his original question.
The only answers would be something in the mBox family since he is using PT LE not mPowered so he can't even make use of the smaller mAudio interfaces.

ya man,
if you want something more compact then a 002 surface, you'll need to replace the interface and the the control surface. so maybe an mbox 2 or mbox mini and a 1 fader control unit, like the one the other guys mentioned, or the presonus Faderport, they are pretty cool.
