Wow sure enough, I assumed since I could do that with pro control

Ouch, the S3 doesn't have the wow factor that the icon series controllers have....ah man

edit....nor the (surface) control within 2 presses of a button

Do you have PT12? It seems like those who have PT12 are getting the 11.3.2 update first.

Still not in my account.

Can someone please explain the rationale behind offering an update to PT12 users while withholding it from PT11 users?

Yes, it will have something to do with making more money for Avid, but although their marketing ploys are typically obvious, the angle on this one escapes me.

There is no rationale behind this. It's only been since PT12 that Avid has started doing this phased rollout of updates/upgrades. But it's sad that the people who need it most aren't getting it first.

They are making the PT12 people feel important.....justifying their expense. Providing perks as it were.......I really wish they would update the store site to include the $99 upgrade from Pt11

My guess is they want to nudge everyone to the latest version because providing support/updates/bug fixes on 12, 11, 10 is draining more of it's cash strapped resources. They only want to provide for the newest versions like other DAW companies.
