New install of pro tools hangs during load up.

Hello,

I have a Intel 2.93ghz dual core imac with 4 gigs of ram. I am installing pro tools 7.4. Installation goes smoothly for me, but when i am finished installing and i click to open pro tools, the program faithfully hangs during the load screen, at the point where it is loading "DigiReWire.dpm". Second attempt to load and it hangs on "Chorus.dpm". Please help, i have thousands of dollars invested into my studio now and i can't run my pro tools at all.

Just Transfer the digiwire plug to unused plugs folder ::: unfortunatly that plug creates sometimes a bug during load up::: if it does not work start by getting rid of one plug at a time to the unused folder until you find the one causing the load up problems::: and don't panic you will be fine pt 8.1 should be released soon for the new macs that just came out. Good luck!!!
