Can i run HUI and Eucon at same time?

I have the artist series controllers on PT 9, Mac Pro 10.6.5 and works great under eucon

i just bought for my ipad the v control from Neyrinck and it runs in HUI mode

just want to make sure i can run both in PT 9

HUI will mirror only the first bank of 8 faders loaded on your Ethernet controller.
Unless it has changed with Eucon support.

so i can set up the ipad controller with hui and the artist with eucon and have them both set up in PT 9 at the same time

I think "Hui" does not work that well with the Eucon software 2.5.6 which is needed to control Pro-tools with eucon. I read in a recent post that some MC users went back to 2.5.5 to regain full "hui" fonctionality.

I installed v-monitor in about 5 minutes in our post studio which has no eucon software installed, but could not make it work in our music studio with the MC pro controller and Eucon 2.5.6.

I was able to assign "v-monitor" as a hui peripheral but the ipad would not recognize the Ney-fi network (wi-fi for v-monitor).

Anybody else has been successfull with eucon 2.5.6 and "HUI'?

i finally had more time to run more tests and while I don't have the artist serie i can confirm that the euphonix system 5-mc With eucon works great with v-control.

I have tested Wave Rider (which uses HUI) with EUCON enabled MC MIX and the result is fantastic.
Eucon does not affect HUI operation at all, (unlike Digidesign ethernet controllers). HUI works fully independently alongside Eucon on PT9, well at least for Wave Rider .
So, either the manual needs updating, or I have a special case.

Wow Mundoz,

That's great news!! And probably tipped the scales for me considering getting a little MC setup at home, since I have two liscences for Waverider, one for work and one for home (got tired of moving iLoks back and forth, and wanted to support your company).

Works great on my D-Command setup and was holing out on Eucon for home because I thought I'd probably lose the use of Waverider.
