Simple trick to audition a track faster?
Hello,
In the past I used a DAW called Reaper which was a simple and pretty great little daw. It had a slider right on the transport control where you could change the speed/pitch of the entire track in real time, which i found really useful to hear what the whole track might sound like a bit faster. (for me getting the BPM right is gold! - 1bmp can make a world of difference!) I'm looking for a similar way of doing this in PT. Some one suggested to me that I put time exp/comp plug in on the master track. I can't seem to do this as it is in the audio suite, and i thought you had to select one piece of audio to apply this as an effect. But what i want is to be able to quickly play back the whole song a couple of bpm faster, just to see how it feels. any ideas? thanks Tom |

Re: Simple trick to audition a track faster?
Make all your tracks Tick Based (this can be set as a pref) and enable elastic audio on them, then adjust the tempo and they'll follow.
