Default Cleaning Faders and Pots

In response to a few phone calls. Do not use WD-40 for cleaning faders, pots, or switches, with the C-24 or anything else. When cleaning any fader, do not use a solvent and just spray it in. You will damage the fader. For Penny & Giles faders, they recommend,"A mild soap like Ivory and warm water."(You also have to take the fader apart.)
A potentiometer can only be cleaned if it is not sealed. The type of material used for the pot determines what to use for cleaning. Sometimes merely exercising the pot will solve the problem.
If your c24 (or any other console) needs to be cleaned, you should have a tech or the manufacturer do it.
