bouncing 2 mono tracks not hard left/right for cd

hi all!!!

i had create 2 normal mono files without the pan hard left/right, and bounced it to disk as a stereo
file!

now the files a not 100% true stereo, but i dumped the original sessen with the audio files.

there is a possibility to import the bounced stereo file again, and pro tools split the file.

now i can set the pan hard left/right and make another real true stereo bounce.

my following question? can pro tools divide the first bounce, where the pan is on both channels
in middle position????

If the files are panned middle, they are going to playback mono. Importing the setereo file willr esult in the same thing, the two files mixed together mono.

the short answer: no.
