Default 002 and 4 pin FW connector

Has anyone tried using an 002 with an Asus M2 (or any) laptop which has a 4 pin Firewire connector?

Thanks.

sonys all have 4 pin f/w connectors. in fact, they use a proprietary f/w chipset. digi used a sony vaio on their digi studio tour that went around recently where they were showing off the 002.

I am not sure if this is what you are asking but you can get a 4 to 6 firewire converter cable from digi or an electronics outlet. It says in the manual that this can be done with the 002.

That's what I was asking.. I can't find any mention of 4 pin FW in my 002 manual.. I looked for it on pages 16 and 17.. to no avail.

Thanks.
