I don't know anything about ART's power conditioners just their audio gear. I tend to stay with brands that are known good in a specialty like this. Those brands being APC and Furman. Pricey but worth it.

Computer, monitor screen, any powered hub, external drives. And a small light bulb so when the power goes out you're not stumbling around in the dark knocking over guitars looking for a torch (flashlight for our USA peeps)

He's saying "power conditioner" not UPS or battery backup.

Your suggestions apply to the latter.
His purchase is more of a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Kind of needs to mention exactly what he bought.

Even if it is a straight-up power conditioner what I wrote still applies except for the light bulb thing. If there's enough power capability and outlets left than maybe some outboard h/w. I remember reading in Recording magazine back some years when Ozzy had his home studio he had everything fed from a huge power conditioner (as well as a separate ups for the critical stuff). I do the same thing but on a smaller scale.

BTW - what's that graphic in your next to last sentence?

The graphic looks like a guy with his arms raised and head tilted. Pretty clever!

Could you answer a question: did you get a power conditioner or an ups (which might also have a power conditioner)?
