Default Mouse behavior

After updating to PT 8.0.1 cs1 has anyone noticed that the grabber seems to be "dropping" things during the drag to.... a little more often than usual. I feel that the behavior of the mouse, after the scroll problems were fixed, is more sensitive. Is it just me? This behavior is only in PT and not in other apps.

Yes, this happens to me A LOT. On my system it seems to be related to the actual position of the cursor when the mouse button is released. If the grabber is not fully within the track being dragged onto, then the region(s) are not placed even though the yellow outline is showing in the right place. There may be something more but that is what I've been able to repeat. It is a change from 7.4 and previous versions, and the change is causing considerable frustration while working. The yellow outline appears to behave like before, but the actual edit plays by other rules.

So many times I drag something only to find it didn't "stick"!

Yes Postman and lode. Definitely had that one. The drag only seems to work when the hand has clicked on the topmost region on the timeline.
I am also having problems moving regions left or right, sometimes even simply extending a selection.

I complained about this here: http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=257259

well one example of it anyway... it happens in more situations... usually at the top and bottom of sessions...

It makes me want to hurt things when it happens...

please fix...

cs2?
