Mbox Mini - M-audio Auxiom 25 - Connecting? Please Help PICS

Ok, another newbie question. You guys were extremely helpful with my last question so here it goes.

I have Pro Tools LE with M-Box Mini and the M-Audio Auxiom 25 Midi Keys. How do I get the programs like Reason to recognize the keyboard? Or is that what I should be expecting?

Again, any help you can give me would be so greatly apprecitated! I know what I want to do with this equipment, but syncing it up I am just not sure about. I have been in home studios where these are set up and would love to have mine up and running.

your site is great and I know I will get much help from it. But I still cant get it to recognize the keyboard. Like are you suppose to choose somewhere in reason the actual keyboard? Super amateur here and sometimes all the different language is confusing.

THe following is the exact text from the first two paragraphs of the tutorial I linked you to, How to use a MIDI controller with Reason and Pro Tools:

The topic of this tutorial can be quite convoluted as different platforms behave differently in certain circumstances. In Windows, Pro Tools “steals” the MIDI from most other applications, and many people get confused and wonder how to get their controller to control Reason.

The simple and most common solution is to use Pro Tools as your MIDI sequencer instead of Reason, and just use the Reason devices to generate the sound for the Pro Tools Instrument/MIDI tracks. The outcome is the same, and is honestly how a majority of the people who use Reason with Pro Tools work. The only reason to use the Reason sequencer is if you prefer the Reason sequencer for some *ahem* reason. I might see this being the case with the newest version of Reason, 4.0, but IMHO, the Pro Tools sequencer is much easier to use than any of the pre-4.0 Reason sequencers. (YMMV)

And then it goes on with specific, step-by-step instructions on how to to do that.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, here, but is my tutorial not clear? I thought I covered the specific issue you are having right there in that tutorial, and it's exactly why I linked you to it. Do I need to make it clearer in my tutorial that you are not using the controller in Reason, you are using it in Pro Tools? Which specific part of the step-by-step instructions are you having problems with?

If I need to change the tutorial to make it more clear (which I thought that it already was) that you are not using (and do not need to use) the controller in Reason at all, I would like to know so that everyone that reads it will benefit.

no it is clear, but remember I am super new to this and something all the "in, out, device, etc" is confusing to me because there are more than on place for in and outs and selections and all that. You werent being a jerk and I didnt take it that way, I greatly appreciate you taking the time and helping me.
