No, you didn't. Use it with Rosetta.

Pro Tools Studio on a MacBook Pro M1 Max 32GB RAM Monterey 12.6.2.
I have similar issues just testing on a M2 Max. Install went fine, Avid Link required Rosetta for install, but when loading template sessions created by Avid XPand!2 doesn't load. I was under the impression that after over 2 years that everything would be caught up, but in reality Pro Tools on Apple Silicon natively is just a global beta test scenario for people with time on their hands to be toying with installs.
Is there a comprehensive list of plugins that will not work with Apple Silicon natively and therefore would need to be run on an older version of PT that requires Rosetta? I'm not touching this platform until the Rosetta clutch is capitulated.

It would have been ideal for Avid to make it more clear that this latest release of PT now opens Natively by default. We're seeing a lot of people who update and then think that they're opening via Rosetta, confused by the missing plugins.

robert replied with this fantastic app
"Also, Pete Gates made a nice app that checks if your AAX plugins are still x64, or universal binaries (Universal binaries will run both as x64 when pro tools launches with Rosetta, or as arm64 when Pro Tools launches as silicon native app) https://petegates.com/pgptprefs.html"

you let it scan and you see ALL the rev #s.. dates and Universal or x64

arturia fx- not Uni
many PA- Not uni
Iztope -not uni
softube - all uni

few are Uni... as I think the companies were not rushing to do AAX, since PT was ... hmmm 2 years! late to silicon.

now waves has made a mess of itself. and this app cant scan the shell business thing they do anyway...

iZotope Ozone 10 and RX 10 are universal binaries now! Softube indeed has their entire catalogue ready, also FabFilter, Soundtoys and McDSP.
Even Waves, is completely AAX silicon . Wether my Waves plugins will stay installed on my computer is a whole other story after today

Quick experiment. Pro Tools 2023.3 installs and launches just fine on macOS Mojave 10.14.6
Even though it's not a supported OS, it seems to function ok on initial tests.

Thanks for the info. Have you tired importing video and exporting video?

I wonder how long it will be before Avid simply ejects the relevant code for these older controllers. When that happens, switching to Rosetta won't be enough to put them back into commission.
