My problem was sorted out by Avid support a couple of days ago.
Something was wrong in their end.

So all is good now. :)

Hi. I am having a similar issue, but with Windows 10.

I updated from Pro Tools from 2020.5 to 2020.9 (and later 2020.9.1), and the message ""Select License to Activate: You don't have any licenses in your account, or none of your licenses have activations available..." appears, and so I can't open Pro Tools.

The Release Limit for my 'Pro Tools Perpetual Bundle (with 10/11/12)' is strangely 07/29/2020, even though it's expiration date is 07/29/21.

Troubleshooting included:
-uninstalled/reinstalled iLok License Manager
-clicked 'Synchronize' on iLok key
-Deactivated/Activated 'Pro Tools Perpetual Bundle' license in ILM
-Checked to see if the license was actually in my ILok Cloud. It was not.

The iLok key is black.

Case#04012575

Is there anything I can do on my end to resolve this issue? Client waiting. THanks!

I see you already have a case number so all you need to do is wait. While waiting, set up a trial license to get going.

Hi. So it looks like the issue is solved! Thank you to AVID support for your help.


For some reason the license was not updated properly, and AVID was able to fix it on their end. I used the Pro Tools Ultimate trail version in the meantime.

This is not an isolated problem...I have the same issue as the original user post.

Support Case #: 04037601

Waiting for initial call back from support plan.
Did all the same things that the previous users did...my Perpetual license also lists the "Release Limit" as the same date as my renewal support plan date.
So something is up.

Waiting patiently...thankfully I have another (personal) license that seems to be working fine for now.

Hoping for a resolution soon.
