Default Turning off the delay in a bounce

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to PT12 and am confused by a slight delay I get when I bounce audio. In older versions (if I remember correctly) you could select a precise bit of audio and bounce it (with no plug ins) and it would align exactly to the original audio when you imported it. Now when I do a bounce there is a slight delay. When I look at the audio waveforms I can see that they are slightly off, and of course I hear it.

Is there a setting I'm missing (so that bounced audio it will line up exactly as the original)?

Thanks,

Gary

I am using 12.7 and just noticed the same thing...Delay using "commit up to this insert" with Steven Slates Trigger..

Ouch this is going to become a problem. Now I have to go back and look at all the files I have bounced...:-(

I also had this with trigger. I thought it was down to the sample I was using but maybe not. I had to drag it back inline.

Gary - Is this with a specific plug, or any plug? I use commit to insert on a daily basis with Melodyne and haven't seen a problem. I also bounce mixes/stems fairly regularly and have no timing issues - how much of a timing issue are you seeing?

I've had issues with incorrect latency reporting from Slate plugins in the past.

You must check every bounced or committed VI track for delay. That's just the way it is for now.
